WHY WE HAVE YOUR DATA?
We store your data because you are a member at The Only Way Is CrossFit or have showed an interest in joining in the past by creating a profile on our TeamUp website. The data is then used for the normal operations of the business.
WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?
We only collect data that is provided by you. This includes personal information and billing information required to facilitate the collection of scheduled payments for memberships and health data completed as part of your PAR-Q. This information is mandatory to setup an account with us and to progress to a membership.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR DATA?
We only keep the data to benefit you. Occasionally sending emails about updates, referrals, offers and surveys. You are able to access the data we store on you at any time by logging into your TeamUp account. You can also change your personal data here. Personal Data will only be used in ways that are in line with why it was originally provided. For example, we will not contact someone designated as your emergency contact for marketing purposes.
HOW WE STORE YOUR DATA?
Where we engage third party contractors (e.g. coaches) to perform services for us, those third party contractors may be required to handle your personal information. Under these circumstances, they must safeguard this information and only use it for the purposes for which it was supplied, although we are not responsible for ensuring this. Other than the above, we will not disclose your personal information without your consent unless disclosure is either necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, authorised or required by law, reasonably necessary to enforce the law or necessary to investigate a suspected unlawful activity.
ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION
If your collected information changes, or if you no longer require our service, you may correct, update, and delete/deactivate it by emailing our customer support at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will respond to your request promptly.
